To inspire confident learners who will thrive in a changing world
underpinned by our Christian vision of
“Love your neighbour as yourself.” Mark 12:31
At Swinford Church of England Primary School, we aim to inspire confident learners who thrive in a changing world. Guided by our Christian vision, “Love your neighbour as yourself” (Mark 12:31), we believe everyone has the potential to achieve amazing things.
We are a learning community, prioritising the development of the whole person by stimulating enquiring minds and fostering excitement for learning for staff and pupils. We are learning all the time, and our aim is to make sure there is no learning time lost.
Each class has a Christian value for the year which they deepen their understanding of what it means and how it is lived out each day through all they learn and do.
Year R – Friendship
Year ½ Courage & Compassion
Year ¾ Trust & Forgiveness
Year 5/6 Justice & Service
Our vision and Christian values drive our moral purpose daily and ensure we live out our vision in all that we do. Our Christian foundation of “love your neighbour as yourself” help staff and pupils focus on making the right decisions, strive for high standards and help us fulfil our vision to see every child and adult flourish and meet their full potential.
At Swinford school we believe in developing the whole person to flourish in the ‘fullness of life’, developing emotionally, mentally, socially and spiritually.
